1:10 RC Car, Truck, or Crawler Hobby Repair Stand Kit

We were tired of working on our personal rigs on readily available RC repair stands, so we came up with this design. The design is based around a camera ball mount, and the ball mount allows for your RC car to be rotated or tilted at any angle to make maintenance much easier. 

The larger the ball mount, the more frictional surface area to create a more sturdy stand. Most ball mounts are equipped with a quick release. If additional quick releases are purchased, it allows for a quick change of the RC cradle to fit different style RC chassis' better. 

The steel construction has some weight, and is extremely stable. The steel construction also allows for magnetic components, such as magnetic helping hands to be attached to assist with repairs, such as soldering, when holding multiple wires is helpful. 

This repair stand kit includes:
 - Main Steel Base - The sturdy base is constructed from steel, and is welded for ultimate durability, even with the heaviest of rigs. The steel also allows for magnetic accessories to be placed on it, to assist with your projects.
 - Chassis Cradle - The steel cradle that nestles your RC vehicle on the stand while you work on it. We have them in different configurations to accommodate your vehicle.
   - Truck Cradle - This works well for 1:10 scale short course trucks, stadium trucks, buggies, and crawlers. 
   - Car Cradle - This works well for 1:10 drift, race, and touring cars.

Details:
 - Ball Head -  Any ball mount may be used. These are typically used for positioning cameras on a tripod, however they add a very versatile element to our stand. We include a 1/4" hole in the base and RC cradle, which may be easily drilled out to 5/16", should you purchase a larger ball mount that has a 5/16" hole. Many ball mounts have a 5/16" hole, some with a 1/4" threaded adapter to reduce the 5/16" hole to 1/4".   
 - Include a Ball Mount? - We offer the repair stand with or without a ball mount. This way, you may customize it with a ball mount of your choice, if you don't want the provided one. We offer a ball mount in a 22 pound rating. The appearance of the ball mount may differ over time, depending on the availability of them at the time of purchase. 

Finish:
 - Hammered Black Powder Coat: As pictured, an ultra durable powder coated finish that matches just about anything.
 - Raw Steel - Want to finish the stand your own way? This is the best option. The stand is raw steel, and ready for your prep work to paint it anyway you prefer.
